Phi Mu is a very respectable house, and a traditionally Southern sorority. They do well at Bama. They are known for taking primarily the pageant queen types-very pretty girls, but can be kind of air head-ish/ditzy (some of this is played up on purpose, sadly). They're also known as being very arrogant and stuck up, their sisterhood isn't the best by a long shot, and they talk a lot of bs about other houses on campus. They don't really associate with anyone but themselves. I think that's why they aren't very well liked by their Panhel sisters. BUT, that being said, they are still a respectable house, and not every girl is like what I described above! So try to go in to recruitment with an open mind to every house. Who knows, depending on your personality, you may love Phi Mu! Good luck!
