If we always ranked pledge classes on how involved girls were in high school and then popularity was second to anything else, well shoot, AXO would always have the top pledge class and ADPi/AOPi would always be pretty high too. But that's obviously not the case, surely. On the whole it doesn't matter how "involved" girls were in high school; the majority of girls in Greek Life will never hold a position in their chapter or be involved with more than 1 or 2 extracurricular clubs/organizations outside their sorority. Unless I'm wrong, these rankings aren't supposed to be based on how many YoungLife leaders or Varsity Lacrosse captains a chapter has, because those qualities aren't what make pledges classes "good," they're just qualifiers that help describe the girls you'll find in that pledge class. The only things that truly matter are involvement in COLLEGE, grades, and popularity (everything that makes one popular falls under that, like attractiveness, personality, fun-factor, etc...) when you're evaluating how good a pledge class is (philanthropy and sisterhood can't really be measured at this point in the year). So @idk, I don't know why you're so sour about people ranking the AGD or Kappa pledge classes highly, (I'm in one of the top 10 fraternities and we along with other fraternities I could vouch for, love them) but the hard truth is that their pledge classes ARE great by the correct standards of judgement.
