The outrage over this video started OUTSIDE of Alabama. The ridicule is on the international level. Yes the University issued a statement. What was wrong with the statement? It just pretty much said that the video is not the image the University was portrayed. NO other sorority on campus had a video like this. By that I mean one that only showed a small number of their members and portrayed an image of looks and partying...NOTHING else. Other recruitment videos showed diversity, fun, academics, philanthropy, Alum involvement, etc. What I don't understand is why there was no outrage when ASU APhi had basically the same video last year. Well, I guess I do. The media loves to bash the state of Alabama and particularly the University of Alabama. So if you aren't from Alabama and don't go to school here....go away....PLEASE
