The only fact here is you bound to your bid for one year. If you drop today or you drop the day before initiation, you still won't be eligible to pursue membership in another chapter until next fall. Give it a chance, at least give it through the first home football game and reevaluate then. This chapter saw something in you that makes them think you'll "fit in" with them. And I can't explain it unless you're on the other side but we're usually right.
