Compared to GPA and involvement, it's about equally important (given that you know how to apply makeup to look cute and know how to dress for your body type). With that being said, if you have no or very little connections, about 7 sororities are going to cut you immediately, no matter your size. There are 2-3 in New Row that are obsessesed over image so they'll be a no-go. Of the remaining houses, grades and personality will matter more than your looks. If you DO have connections but you're a little bigger, you could go Old Row if you have a stellar resume, GPA, and you're really witty and funny. And obviously, having connections = wealthy.
