If you list ANY house you would refuse to join, you must realize there is a chance - and not a small one - that you'll go there. And what would it hurt to show up? I think if more girls who do this had stuck around, at least for two or three weeks, and tried it out, there would be fewer to resign. But 18-year-olds aren't the brightest chicks.
