This is some info from our Panhellenic website about recs. www.uapanhellenic.com/letters-of-recommendation.html Sorority alumnae send them in and they don't have to be from the chapters at Alabama. They could have gone to school anywhere, so start asking! Any woman who went to a four year school might have a sorority affiliation. Your teachers are a good place to start. Women you know from a job, church, neighborhood, friends parents, your parent's co-workers -- really anyone. Several of my friends got recs after their mom's posted on FB that they needed them. They were surprised at how many of their moms' friends were alumnae. You can also contact alumnae groups in your hometown or as close to it as possible. Individual sororities have them but there are also Panhellenic ones. For example, I know PNMs from Georgia who got help from the Atlanta Alumnae Panhellenic Association. The ladies doing your recs will need a copy of your transcript, a resume and a classy photo or two. They'll take it from there and submit them. Good luck!
