Definitely just go in with an open mind. Chances are if you've been to teas/preview day or know some girls from your hometown, you might already have a top choice as of now, but don't let that hinder you from liking other sororities. The house that I ended up (which was my first choice during recruitment) in wasn't even on my radar before recruitment. I didn't go to any of their teas and I don't even remember them of preview day, but I loved them during recruitment. It is really easy to go in thinking that you're definitely going to go a certain house based on prior experience, but I guarantee you that formal recruitment is a completely different world from preview day/teas and the easiest way to end up bid-less/disappointed is if you go in with preconceived notions. Just enjoy the week! It's stressful, but it's fun and you meet a lot of different girls in your rho chi who could possibly even be your future pledge sisters. As a senior, I wish I could go back and be a freshman again because that time from recruitment till about the end of your first semester of school really is the most exciting time of your life! Good luck!
