The rho chi didn’t do anything wrong in this sitch. As usually girls do get their #1. But in rush anything can happen and it really was a numbers issue at that point. If you made it to pref they definitely wanted you. It could be something as silly as depending on quota if they had 130 girls you could have been 131. The house you are in really wanted you so definitely give it a chance and you may surprise yourself and be glad things worked out the way they did.
