Hey girl! While I don’t think this is common, you’re definitely not alone. This same thing happened to me on Bid Day. I was having a really great rush and then I didn’t get my top pick in the end. Personally, I got a little caught up in the “tier talk” and then felt terrible when a “better” house passed on me and I ended up in my third favorite. All I can say is that I know it stings a little right now but try to go in with a positive attitude because this house wanted YOU! I made life long friends and have wonderful memories and it all worked out how it was supposed to even if it wasn’t how I initially planned! Have a great freshman year and get out there and meet your new sisters!
