@Really? - I get the impression she was kind of clueless. My guess is she dropped out of the doc about the same time she went radio silent on TT right before Rush. Before then I’m not sure she really understood it was frowned upon. As an out of state HS student who had been watching Bama sorority members light up TT for the better part of a year, it’s not beyond belief that she might think it would be okay. Especially if her parents weren’t familiar with Greek life. Sororities have to own their part of this. Pre rush every house was liberally making use of TT & IG to peddle their PR. It’s definitely a do as I say, not as I do sort of situation. Not surprising that girls might have been receiving mixed messages.
