Honestly, it’s pretty typical to “lose interest” in Greek life junior and senior years. Other priorities - like study abroad and internships, social outlets and set friend groups, friends from classes and outside the house, make Greek life less central as you get to junior year. And given Bama dues and expenses “not worth it”. I guess if you want to be around “the girls from your hometown” - that you joined the house with, continue to hang out with and will return home with - the above doesn’t apply. But for many, it’s a natural progression.
