You have a weird obsession with 'Bama. Why is that? Students from both schools have the ability to get into very good grad schools, including the Ivies. Both schools have tons of graduates who do very well in life. Cornell has a lovely campus, but it is bloody cold during the winter months. That level of cold is not for everyone. The only job opportunity where coming from an Ivy means anything is on Wall Street, and honestly WS is probably more interested in graduates from Harvard, Penn, or Princeton.
