Every house has OOR girls in it, that's factually true. However, several OR houses have pledge classes with fewer than 20 OOR girls in them. So, 20 girls in a pledge class of 150 girls is a pretty low number. And, once you are in, people fail to tell you how you may be an outsider because the other 130 girls already know each other from high school, cheer camps, Bible camps, neighborhoods, etc. No OOR PNM ever wants to hear this but it is true. OR will flat out lie and tell everyone that they don't favor Southern girls and every OOR has the same chance if she's smart, cute, and involved enough. Its a lie. You will be competing with Southern PNM's who personally know several Actives in the OR houses, have mamas who network for them, and get letters of recommendation from recent alums from the Bama chapter of that house. Put your best foot forward but don't fall too in love with any one or two houses. And, don't think any less of yourself if you got cut because it has less to do with you personally and more to do with who you knew. Plus, OR houses aren't any different than NR houses. They think they are better because a bunch of their moms are on GR 24/7 saying that they are top.
