To my knowledge, most sororities have a section in their national recommendation form (completed by an alumna) regarding legacies. The chapter, if they choose, may use this information to make sure that the pnm doesn’t “fall through the cracks” during the first cuts, but this doesn’t guarantee an invite to prefs. In the end it’s about mutual selection and whether or not you and the chapter are good fit.
