TLDR a 5.7 gpa makes me so angry bc that would LITERALLY be IMPOSSIBLE at my hs and it is honestly the definition of grade inflation. - sincerely someone from a district that does the opposite (grade deflation) Also just a note that grade deflation does NOT help students, in fact, it hurts. Some schools have so many applicants that they literally make first cuts based on numbers alone without looking at how the districts grade or rate classes
