It’s all about the physical houses and the order they were built. The first round to get new houses were DG, GPB, etc. So for girls going through rush, they were willing to pledge a lower ranked sorority for the trade off of getting a brand new mansion. AOP and KAT were the last two to get new houses, so that’s been years of girls skipping over them to pledge others with new houses. It’s unfair and it sucks, but now that everyone has mansions, it shouldn’t have as big of an impact going forward.
