If you attend Pref and rank all of your Pref houses on your Pref card, you are guaranteed a bid to one of them. If you have 2 houses and list only 1 (suicide) you are no longer guaranteed a bid and will not get one if that house fills to quota before your name comes up on their bid list. If you have only 1 invitation, you are guaranteed a bid to that house, regardless of where you rank on their bid list. Congrats & go have fun at Pref!!
