well, from a former aphi's perspective (i dropped after being in it for 2 years), their sisterhood really wasn't there at all and if you didn't fit the "look" (skinny, blonde, and pretty), you were treated as an outcast. it wasn't worth paying all that money to be treated like that. maybe it's changed since i've dropped (which was about 2 years ago) but that was my experience at least.
