I saw a girl on TT and she NAILED bid day. While it is exciting to open that envelope and running to your house, unless you have a bunch of high school friends there, you will not know anyone and the actives will be hanging with their friends ready to ditch and go out to bars. If you feel lonely after bid day (Like I did and even a little at the retreat) stick with it and you will make those bonds. But you have to put in the effort.
