Suggesting that he receive a bid based merely on the perceived notion that he was bullied should not guarantee him or anyone a bid. Other PMNs may be facing equally concerning internal struggles, such as the death of an immediate family member, terminal cancer, or other hidden hardship. This does not give them an automatic bid either. Perhaps, if this person doesn’t receive a bid, they should consider writing a charter for the first transgender sorority, opening the door for others. However, I won’t hold my breath for them and their supporters to put in this type of effort. I suspect his efforts for next action steps after bid day on the national stage will mirror that of which he put into attaining solid recommendations: none.
