The houses hard to get into unless you know someone are some version of high school year 5+ and most likely not for you. Some of these houses even have reputations for shunning “fillers girls”- or girls they had to take to get to quota who are not part of the core “hometown” clique. There is nothing “better” with respect to fun, connections,physical house, friendships, “quality” of girls, etc. from house to house. To the world at large, Bama sorority girls are collectively much more alike than different. Yes it probably hurts really, really bad If you are from one of “those places” and get shunned by girls you know. That’s why some obsess over these things. But If that’s not you, you are no worse, and probably better off, in a place that feels comfortable to you.
