Do you understand primarily why we want your photo? So we can try to commit what you look like to memory before rush so we will recognize you when you show up at our door. So the active who is supposed to pick you up at the door can get you quickly and greet you appropriately and make you feel welcome. So we can put a face with your name and your resume and other memorable things about you. So you will stick with us in our minds. Otherwise, you will fall through the cracks. By all means make your photo flattering, but it needs to look like you. I can't tell you how many of these we have seen that make it seem like a girl is drop dead gorgeous but then what we get in person is a totally different girl. That won't help you, in fact you'll just stand out as a big disappointment.
