Alright cheer up sister here's the real tea!! The Panhellenic recruitment system is actually designed to maximize the amount of girls in every house. The NPC goal is for every house on each campus have roughly the same amount of girls (and bring in $$$ lol). Panhellenic WANTS every house to be thriving and at campus total, which is why COB exists for girls who it didn't work out for during formal recruitment. It actually happens a lot that great girls slip through the cracks, but that DOESN'T mean those girls are losers who don't deserve to be in a sorority. This is why COB exists and why you're allowed to still do it even if every house dropped you during formal, so that girls who are truly serious about joining a house can. That being said, PLEASE contact your Rho Chi or Panhel and look into COB for AOPi and any others you were interested in. My guess is they liked you but it logistically didn't work out, but there's definitely a chance they would love to have you now. Take it.
