Yes, grades matter. Unless you personally know actives in the house, grades are going to be one of the very first things houses look at. Good grades (high 3.0s and 4.0+) are very desirable and houses will definitely be mindful of you. Average grades (mid 3.0s) obviously aren’t as desirable but they’re definitely still strong. Low grades (low 3.0s and anything below) are very concerning to houses and many houses have rules in place where they have to cut girls who are under a certain GPA (usually 3.0). I’m not sure what actives are saying grades don’t matter but they definitely do. I know some houses (ZTA, APhi, DZ, GPhi) are more “relaxed” on grade requirements but ultimately all houses want girls with good grades.
