It’s not hypocritical. The difference? Most pnms are under the age of 18. they are minors. they live at home with their parents. they can’t even legally get into bars. they are still children in the eyes of the law. Most sorority women in college are 18 or older. they do not live at home with their parents. their parents have trusted them to go away to college and make wise decisions based on what they think is right or wrong. they are learning how to be an adult and not be children anymore. additionally, (if 19+ in Alabama), they can legally get into bars if they go in under. the major difference here? PNMs are still under the vigilance of their parents and haven’t been sent away to figure out the adult world yet, sorority women have been and therefore can make decisions accordingly with their life. additionally, you should always put your best foot forward in anything new in life. applying for a new job? you need clean social media as well- a sorority is really no different. get off your high horse
