I think this is true for recruitment at the beginning of the year, except I wouldn't call it good and bad, I'd call it "desirable" and "not desirable" for PNMs. That being said, I know a lot of girls who as they got older and more mature, saw how the girls in their "good" house treated each other, and now they look back and wish they had given houses like DG and AOPi, who are genuine and not catty, a more open mind during rush. NOT saying they necessarily would have chosen dg/aopi over a house like pm/zeta, just that they wish they hadn't written the nice but not as trendy/relevant houses off as quickly.
