I get that they don't have what it takes to compete in formal recruitment and they do what works for them. I think there's some resentment, though, that they don't/can't participate in mainstream Greek life but OTOH they have full membership in Panhellenic. Honestly, they'd get a lot less hostility thrown their way if they voluntarily opted out of Panhellenic completely and aligned with the UPC instead.
