There are different variations of the term “first.” ADPi was the first “society for women.” GPhi was the first sorority that coined the word “sorority.” And Theta was the first “Greek fraternity known among women” and they were also the first to use Greek letters. Ultimately, it’s they claim different “firsts” because it sounds nice and prestigious.
