Where's the new house, dog? There's no construction, no plan, no worksite. It won't spring up overnight, construction at UA takes a while. Their national housing fund isn't going to sling them a few million to build a house up to UA standards-it's not in line with how they operate and they couldn't recoup the funds in a timely manner. It doesn't appear on the University plan, it's not mentioned in any University communications, and it's not known of in the IFC office. This new house has been a lie for over a year now- propagated to trick rushees into thinking they're stable and didn't take a failed gamble. DSig, with 120~ years of alumni, is a justifiable expense for their national organization. It pays off, while UA Sig Tau doesn't. Also consider how UA would see it-wealthy older alumni want their fraternity back on campus, vs. Junior Level, new hire, recent grads trying to buy their own, personal, houses.
