Dude. Alumni/National support means a ton. Well-funded chapters routinely "disband" or go "inactive" for a few years during construction projects or during suspensions. In turn, they hire consultants to come in and help with rush (who know how to find good guys, and find a lot of them). 50 members isn't a ton when you can make the argument that "we'll be off-campus for a year, and then back into the house." Delta Sig will likely do the same. Their national org. is too big, and their Bama alumni base the same, to not rise to the task. The only people who would refuse to recognize this is Sig Tau, who took a terrible gamble on a house they knew they might not keep.
