All very true but sadly that’s just not how it works. There are so many girls coming through rush and grades are important to sororities. Sure there are reasons for poor grades, and that’s why houses can still take grade risks. If this girl doesn’t know someone to write a letter for her, the house will never know if she had personal issues or if she was just lazy and didn’t try. And with that gpa, options are going to be extremely limited. Bad grades are one of the main reasons for girls not getting bids at all. It would be smart to wait a year, and get on top of her grades without having to deal with all of the responsibility and time commitment of being in sorority.
