I don't know why so many people are being judgemental. This person could've dealt with mental health issues/unfortunate circumstances or just simply doesn't test well. We all know the high school education system needs work and isn't a true measure of intelligence. Grades don't define your character. With that being said - 2.9 is definitely on the lower end, but it's definitely not the lowest gpa that's been recruited. Just because you're a grade risk doesn't mean you'll be dropped. There's a lot more to a person than their grades and the sorority that you end up in will see it.
