First- I’m an education major. I find it insulting that you think my degree is cheap and not worth the money. I plan on getting my master’s degree. Second- I have a 3.9 GPA. I came to UA with a 4.2 from HS. I receive some merit scholarship money. My parents are graciously paying the remainder and my one year master’s program so I graduate with zero debt. Lastly- I will be returning to California. First year teachers get paid between $65k- $72k, with a master’s degree, in my county. No, I won’t be rolling in money, but I won’t be destitute. And, I can work summer school for 4 of my 8 weeks of summer vacation and earn another $7k. I love my program, I love working with and teaching children, and I love UA.
