If you have low grades it can definitely happen. But if you have a decent GPA and a positive attitude towards every house you shouldn't have a problem. That being said, sometimes girls do "slip through the cracks". If that happens though, you can COB later. If you want to be in a sorority badly enough and are open to all houses it will work out for you, because you'll make it work out for you :)
