I think saying there’s been a societal shift is just because of prospective. I can promise you the girls who rushed in 2010 thought the exact same thing when comparing to girls who rushed in 2002(That they were higher quality PNMs, better looks, etc). Many of the stereotypes that existed then are still the same today. Just how some members may say their current sorority experience is way better than that of previous generations. The alums might think their experience was better than the experience of current members.
