Honestly I didn't have much recs at all since I didn't know much people. I rushed as a sophomore and had friends in three houses. They knew alumni members that offered to write one for me. I also had a friend who's mom was an Alpha Gam and she wrote one for me too. Either way I ended up going to a house I didn't have a rec for. So overall I had 4 recs and got a bid from a house I didn't have a rec for. However, knowing what I do now, I wished I rushed as a freshman and reached out to houses earlier (like senior year of high school). I advise you to start reaching out to sororities now and inquire how to go about getting recs, since I doubt that you know anyone here as yet. I also recommend rushing as a freshman, because I personally feel like your options are more limited as a sophomore. However my situation worked out for the best and I love my house
