I think the consensus was that virtual rush is better than no rush, but there was definitely a feeling of loss about the new members not being able to run from the stadium or have overnight bid retreats. Lots of lessons learned about participating: 1). make sure your daughter has the most current version of Zoom installed on her computer and phone 2). make sure that she has the right cable to connect to the internet if the wireless internet is glitchy 3). make sure her devices are fully charged throughout the day 4). remind her to refresh after each round 5). write down the contact information for IT help for her computer 6). write down the contact information for help from Panhellenic 7). practice doing a virtual round and talk about lighting and ideal camera angle.
