Recruitment is so high intensity, and the week after that there is a "let down". Actives are exhausted and want to spend time with their roommates/boyfriends that they haven't seen in a few weeks while they are doing work week. New members think that they are going to walk into the houses and it's going to be like they've met their long lost family, but honestly at this point they are virtually strangers! Hang in there, keep going to the house to eat, hang out, or whatever you are allowed to do these days. Go as much as you can! Even then it can take a few months for it to feel like "home". Hopefully there are football games/parties (with masks- hahaha) chapter meetings, big/little reveal, etc. that will make you feel more at home!
