I was in a house with a similar rep to KD as a “filler girl” but remember you’re more than that. You were just someone they didn’t know before rush. Obviously the girls in the house liked you because they kept you around and gave you a bid. With pledge classes this huge half of the girls are “fillers” and you will find your crowd. There’s a reason you ended up there. I felt awful on the bid day retreat, me and the other girls were talking about how left out we felt, everyone knew each other, etc. I cried to my mom on the phone about how I made the wrong choice. It sucked initially but eventually we all found our groups.The southern girls were nice enough, just not really looking to make new friends or expand... it didn’t matter though because I had the best time and made amazing friends anyway. I am so happy with the decision I made and so glad I stuck it out
