i’m a out of state senior in hs right now and just visited ua this past week and am wondering if it’s worth going there as i don’t think i will qualify for any merit scholarships and it will cost me lots of $. one of the main reasons i want to go to ua is because of the huge greek life and i love the southern culture but i only have a 3.0 (hoping to get all a’s this year but don’t know how much that will bring up my gpa probs to 3.1 or something) i know my gpa is not going to help during recruitment and i will be dropped automatically for (most??) classes. do you think it’s worth going and spending all the money to come to alabama or should i consider getting my gpa up my freshman year and rushing sophomore. sorry i know this isn’t usual posts but i figured it a good time to ask because greekrank is active right now. also for the girls that are rushing right now have any of u had success with a gpa similar to mine?
