You've enjoyed talking to these houses and think you'll fit in well there--that is AWESOME! That means that you're going to put in the effort and make friends for life. Btw I'm in one of the two houses you mentioned and I'm excited for you to be part of a sisterhood, whichever one you end up in! Don't worry about this website. No normal person cares about rankings. I won't say no one cares, but basically no one that matters cares. The only people who might care are people who are snobby mean girls who are stuck in high school and are posting these rankings to feel better about themselves. I honestly feel bad for them. You're going to be an ambassador for your house. People are going to see you around campus wearing your letters and think "wow she's a sig delt/kap!" Your friends, your hallmates, everyone who knows you are going to appreciate you for who you are. Trust me, no one who matters is going to think any less of you. And the most important thing is that you don't internalize the hate on this website. It's coming from insecure people who have nothing better to do with their lives. Go live yours, that's the best thing that any of us can do. (I only come here around recruitment season because I know some PNMs are unfortunately going to find this website--that's how I found this site at first--and the content on here is awful if unchecked.)
