Because we know that rankings are crap. And that it’s completely crap if these PNM’s can’t “fit in” / “feel a connection” to a chapter with 400 members in it. They’ve barely met any of the actives and none of their future pledge class. Once you’re in a sorority, you realize that we all are very alike. Our colors and rituals and letters are different, but there really isn’t that big of a difference in daily life as a “top” member or a “bottom” house member. Every single chapter at Bama is incredible and it frustrates us to see PNM’s drop because they think they’re too good for certain chapters - because that’s what “won’t fit in” is code for. We all know it. Which is also fine because no chapter deserves a bunch of entitled brats either.
