I'm rushing as a sophomore and it depends on what you mean. The houses I've gotten back are houses that I kinda thought I was too good for last year. I dropped pretty early in the process last year. However, I spent a lot of time reflecting and growing in the last year and decided that I didn't want to go into Greek Life for popularity, so I'm looking for honest friendships and sisterhood. Which I think I can find at the houses that I have left right now. Even though it turned out probably the same as it would have last year, I have a different attitude and that makes a lot of difference. I got fewer houses back after the first cuts than I did last year. Certain houses definitely seem to have their sophomore picks picked out and it's not me, but that's okay. I kinda wish I had joined last year because I would have had an extra year in Greek life, but I needed that time to grow too. It's a trade-off. Anyway, just my perspective. I agree with the actives that rushing as a sophomore is hard, fewer houses will want you, and the ones that are open minded enough to give you a chance may be the ones who are wanting you this year anyway.
