You have a better chance of getting your first house if you don’t suicide, than if you do. This is because if you suicide, you’re not guaranteed a bid. So if you suicide, and you don’t fall on that houses bid list, then you’re SOL and you just fall off the list completely. If you list both houses, you’re guaranteed a bid from one of them, even if that means they have to add you manually to a bid list, you have to be on one chapter’s bid list no matter what.
