Yeah. Because it's the Mother Chapter of SAE and holds a ton of pride in the pledge process and what it entails. (fun fact: it's not the cookie cutter pledge program SAE Nationals would like them to use) The bonding that comes from going through that collective hell together is a large part of what holds the chapter together. Even if you went to a school with the exact same process for pledging, they still wouldn't jump at you because you didn't struggle alongside them.
