SAE at ASU will be nothing like SAE at UA. SAE is a pretty regular fraternity around the nation, but in the South is a hotbed of very Southern First/Traditional mentalities. Remember the Oklahoma SAE chant? You won't necessarily find Big 10 SAE chapters defending that, but you will in the South. I'm sure at ASU you had a diverse chapter, but you won't find that here. It's worth considering disaffiliating and re-rushing at Bama, depending on your age and how badly you want to be involved with Greek life. Don't expect to come here and immediately transfer into the SAE chapter here. You would not be the first to transfer in, not get into their fraternity's chapter, then disaffiliate to re-rush.
