Pretend you know no-one in either house. Not a soul, only the girls you've met this week. Where would you want to be most if that was the case? One last thought - don't choose a house just because your friends like that. They may not even get bids to that house. I had a friend who ranked, let's call it House "C" down first because her friend wanted that house too. Turns out her friend didn't get it and now my friend wished she had ranked her other pref house first.
