Here's a shocking bit of information. Sometimes young girls get engaged. Do I personally think it's a wise idea? No. Is it an actual scandal? No. My aunt met her husband Freshman year of high school. He joined the military, while she went off to college (and joined a sorority). They got married the summer after her freshman year. Still together many years later. That doesn't seem to be the norm, but so what?
