The amount varies from house to house based on return numbers from previous years. Typically old row makes their highest number of cuts the first round and other houses have more drastic cuts later on. First round cuts are also largely due to GPA, lack of letters of rec or connections in any houses. I know when I went through rush and a lot of other girls in my rho chi group I was friends with had our biggest cut after philanthropy. I went from 8 houses on Philanthropy to 3 then Preffed 2 of those houses. I am from OOR (west coast) so was expecting to have large cuts after IWT from old row houses.
